Wild bird photographed from a hide rented from Mark Hancox / Nature Photography Hides. Kingfishers are attracted to a suspended tank containing fish bait. A variety of interchangeable perches could be placed at different angles around the tank. Here the bird has flown from the perch to a post on the boardwalk beneath the hide.
